Hello, my name is Suzi.  I am one of the founding members of IHHT.

I have been incorporating sound healing instruments into my client sessions and courses for over 10 years, including tuning forks, singing bowls, chime pipes, koshi, rainsticks, tingsha, Native American drums, flutes and rattles, African Djembes, Russian Rav drums and my voice – through chanting and threshold singing (gentle singing at the bedsides of the dying).

My passion for sound therapy and musical instruments has been inspired by many teachers over the years, including Tim Wheater and Cherub Sanson (multiple sound instruments, including gongs, drums, flutes and tuning forks), Tobias Kaye (singing bowls), Sika Deer (sound baths), Steve ‘Cloud Song’ Highhawk (flutes), Ruth Lerew (gong baths) and Debbi Walker (tuning forks).

As well as being a sound practitioner/teacher, I am also a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor specialising in end-of-life, bereavement, grief and loss. My therapy sessions draw on a wide variety of  integrated modalities including counselling, EFT, NLP, sound healing, mindfulness, breathwork, somatic therapy and energy healing. I also offer individual and group mentoring to trainee and qualified counsellors and other professionals working within caring, therapeutic or holistic roles.

will be running regular IHHT Tuning for Self-Care, Tuning Fork Sound Practitioner Courses and Palliative Sound Practitioner Courses, and also offer a range of other courses and workshops throughout the year, details of all of these can be found on my website www.next-steps.org.
